We all know that obesity is medical condition in which one’s get accumulated with extra body fats which are harmful for body. Infect it is cause of many other diseases like heart disease, blood pressure, and high blood cholesterol etc.

There are many causes of it like improper mode of diet, lack of physical activity, genetic susceptibility, excessive intake of fats etc.

Every one is cautious to lose their weight. Rapid weight loss is not a good way. It can harm your body especially can lose your muscles instead of fat. Reduce your weight slowly. It is the safest way.

To lose weight successfully first you have to change your eating habits. Avoid food having calories. Try to eat plant-based food like fruits, vegetables etc. Include lean protein and low fat products in your diet plan.


Increase physical activity in your daily routine. Most of the people maintain weight loss by just regular exercise. Regular exercise shed off extra weight and burns your calories. Try to add simple changes like park your car away from entrance, move around periodically to your garden etc. Normally 150 minutes a week physical activity is necessary to control weight gain but 250-300 minutes a week physical activity is must in order to lose weight.

For a weight loss you have to modify your lifestyle. Try to find out those factors which are cause of obesity. Counseling may be helpful for you. Professionals can help you in identifying behavioral and emotional issues relating to your diet.

Healthy diet and regular exercise are necessary for weight loss. But some time they don’t work properly. So in this situation medication is necessary. Your doctor will recommend you according to your obesity level. But keep in mind medication alone will not work if you don’t make necessary changes in your eating and exercising activities.

In some cases weight loss surgery can be option. But it also poses some risks. Although it sheds off 50% extra body fats but it limits the amount of food you comfortably take or decreased the absorption of food or calories. But keep in mind that even after using this option, there is need to make dietary and physical activities changes to avoid further weight gain.
