Many of you drink green tea daily. Some like its taste. Some drink to maintain their health. But you know it is also very good for your oral health. Some researches say that if you drink green tea daily then it not only improves your oral health but also reduces risk of loosing teeth by 20%. So drinking green tea provides many oral benefits. Some of them I will share with you.


Cavities Protection
We know that main cause of plaque is bacteria. If you don’t clean your teeth after every meal then these bacteria grow up. This produces acid which is converted into plaque. But when you drink green tea then it not only controls bacteria but also lowers the acidity level in saliva which ultimately prevents your teeth from cavities.

Gum Diseases Protection
Green tea also prevents you from gum diseases because it has anti-inflammatory power. It is found in one German research that people who drink green tea have more healthy gums as compared to those people who don’t drink.

Less Risk of Teeth Loss
When you will have healthy gums and teeth then there is less risk f losing your teeth. So drinking green tea not only keeps your gums and teeth healthy but also prevents you from teeth loss.

Prevention from Bad Breath
Green tea also prevents you from bad breath. Research proved that it has antioxidants which control many compounds that are cause of bad breath.

Controls Oral Cancer
Some researches also have proved that it is good prevention from oral cancer. In one study green tea was given to those patients who already had precancerous lesions in their mouth and results were quite remarkable. So green tea also inhibits oral cancer growth.
